Thanks to SCAMBOOK, I avoided being Scammed.
Today a young man arrived claiming that Entrust Energy was working with Centerpoint Reliant ( my energy provider) to make sure I was getting my 8.6 savings and that I had to provide him a current bill to make sure. This didn't sound right So, I Binged Entrust and found the scambook entry were they had done this before to other people and tricked people to 2 yr contracts with them. When I asked the guy for a business card or phone number he tried to deny the complaint listed as lies by disgruntled customers and they were legitimated reps for Centerpoint. But, thanks to Scambook, I told the guy I wasn't interested and that I am not authorizing any changes to my bill. By the way I called Centerpoint and verified that Entrust was not representing them and if they did have an agreement they would inform customers in writing ahead of time before such a change would take place.
