I ordered a the Veloura and Alluria cream 14 day trial pack on 23 June 2014 via the internet. They confirmed my order and deducted R70 twice, once for each cream. After a few weeks I still had not received my trial pack and called. They advised me I should receive it soon. To date I have not received the trial pack!
On the 31st of July they had the audacity to further deduct R1078 twice from my credit card! This is outright theft as I did not consent to any monthly order of this product. Apparently you have to cancel within the 14 day trial period? How would I even know this if I never received the trial product?
How can a company like this even be allowed to operate as a legal business?
Is there no consumer council in the UK that can put a stop to this outright theft?
My bank is currently investigating the matter and trying to reverse the payment but I have to consider the possibility of cancelling my credit card as they might try to bill me again!
I am so disgusted!
