I received a call from someone with what I thought was an Indian accent saying he was calling because there were many error messages coming on the network and that my computer had been infected with multiple maleware and I was in danger of hackers getting my information and my computer was in danger of crashing. He requested remote access to my computer to show me the error messages, which there were. He told me my firewall was down and I needed to purchase a license to get the firewall back up and protecting me again, and that the Norton security that I have wasn't going to protect me from the maleware because it was worse than a virus, and Norton only protects against viruses. He asked for credit card info for the service of a technician fixing my computer and for the firewall, and unfortunately, I fell for it. I'm going to try to get my money back, but I'm not hopeful.
