About 2 weeks ago a fellow "Manish"(from India) called me at our business to tell me that they were alerted about my computer having problems. He said I should let him look at my computer remotely to diagnose it. Thus we looked at it together via logmein.com. He showed me some things which looked fairly legitimate and then he referred me to technician which said that $349.00 they would correct the problems and give 1 year of tech support. I said that I will consider and took their contact info. but did not bite. The fellow seemed upset and curt. Today Megan called with ( a repeat of the above ). When I said I want to think about it, the person (from India again) who was logged onto my computer put a password on the start mode on my computer without my permission, didn't give the password, and hung up. I was very upset. I called them back and insisted that they give me the password which after some go around they finally did. To say the least, they will never get my business if I can help it.
