I bought a phone from T-Mobile to use for their pay-as-you-go plan. I purchased the extended warranty at the urging of their salesperson. My phone's charger port was the first to go. I called and was told to send it in. I did so and waited six weeks for a new one. I received a different model then the one I purchased. I called and worked to resolve this with the company. They had sent me a downgrade and the CS rep told me my model had been discontinued. No attempt at reimbursement whatsoever. Then the new one started acting up so I called and tried getting another phone. The CS rep encouraged me to wait until the first of August so my warranty would extended even further. I called August 2nd to be informed that my warranty had expired and had no record of my previous call or an extended warranty. I called several times to be told that there would be no resolution on their end.
