I am planning on moving soon and am lucky enough to have had a few generous friends offer to help me with the expenses by buying reload cards for me. (they all still have the cards and receipts)
Tonight I went to withdraw the money from my friend that I had just loaded and the ATM refused me.
When I called the number on the back of the card I was told that due to my account activity, that my card was cancelled and I wouldn't be able to open a new account.
I get direct deposit every month.
Because of this BS that Greendot just did, not only will I not be able to receive my direct deposit, this also means I wont be able to move or pay any bills.
They have just single handily ruined my life, and the life of my family.
