International boundaries
Almost, (almost) sent them $5052.00 in an Up-front payment of a $350,000 Business Loan. Employees of a Local Bank (US Bank) received a memo on them from Western Union!
They wanted the (up-front) money to go overseas to 2 different individuals, in 2 different areas of Spain. Even though my Loan payments were gonna go to the New York City address (which doesn't exist).
It's a fraud! Their websites (Loancity.org and Cornerstonestate.com) are "Based" and "Hosted" in Australia. Both of the sites were created on 10-17-2011. Their (888) phone number is registered there too!
It's too bad! They had a great idea! Take people with Good Credit and give them "risky" loans using Domestic and World-wide investors.

- Hi J, you found out way more info then I did. I had called BBB, I even called businesses located 1 Penn Plaza and went as far as to contact an attorney on the 49th floor who ironically deals with insurance fraud I think. They had me speak with one of their investigators. I also informed Western Union and another post on here claims he contacted the FBI. I wish I had known all this before they got almost $2000 from me. How did you find their other website names out of curiosity? Thanks for the Post I hope everyone sees it before they scam them too!

The Loan City.org site is the site I originally found this company on when I inquired a deal with them. It had appeared at the top of the list (on Google) when I had typed in Small Business Loan (or something really similiar to that). Can't quite remember what I typed exactly?
After the Bank Teller seen the postings here, I did a WHOIS.net search on both of the websites and their Hosting site. All three were started and housed in Australia.
Of coarse, I didn't look/find this info until after I was at the bank. I had done some searching a week earlier, but I never seen anything posted "bad" on the internet. I mean, I did my homework ( I thought)?
I should have done the WHOIS search back then!!
The rep from Cornerstone was Very friendly and Not Pushy at all!!
I was all set to wire the money to New York, when my rep told me that there was a change in plans, and I now have to send it to Spain. Ya right ( I thought )!, when I announced this to the Teller across from me (at the bank), she and the other girls said, "HANG UP THE PHONE, NOW!!!" ,literally!!
It's just a shame that we have to go this route in order to try to get financing! I have GREAT Credit and an established business. I've had 2 13%-Down in Sales years and in NO-Way even thinking about closing my doors, and have been turned-Down by 6 different banks now!! -
