Young man approached my niece and I. Clean cut saying he was raising money for college tuition by selling magazines. He was very polite but many things he said gave me a red light. My niece insisted on helping him. I gave him cash but unfortunately I filled out a "order form" with my name, address and I signed it. That's what I'm most concerned about is my signature and my address. Of course after getting home I found out it was a scam. Now I am reading that people are saying they are forcing them to buy magazines because they have their signature on a contract and they won't stop sending magazines to people's homes. They are trying to collect fees up to in the hundreds from people by threatening to take them to court. I received a bill for the supposed remainder of what I owe which is $20.00 but I don't know of I should pay these terrible people or if it really won't matter as they have my info. I'm really not sure what action I should take. Can't afford a lawyer.
