Hi, I recently (April 16th I believe) enrolled at Miller-Motte Online the main campus being at Wilmington, NC. I am enrolled in the Associates for Applied Sciences and have just started my second six-week course (I already finished the first course GS101 Career Development) and am now doing Customer Service. I have been literally pulling their arm to get a response. Apparently three documents I didn't know about had not been sent and my financial aid funding is up in the air. I am looking at scholarships and applying left and right and really do not want to get stuck with 31,360.00 which is the average they have for an Associates Degree in Applied sciences for Business Management. I am taking the online classes from Pennsylvania on the Northeast Coast and I mean I really never did any research as probably most of people who go there haven't. My father did some research on the Internet and he doesn't trust the school and from what research I have done I've realised I made a tremendous mistake. Who can really cough up over 31,000.00!? Friends on Facebook even say that that is a total rip-off to pay that much money for an online Associates degree. Plus it isn't even regionally-accredited which is bad. I've been reading these posts and I was told if I accept my funding right now without taking any loans out which I personally am entirely against doing because I know with loans especially student loans interest is piled high on-top of them. Though the financial aid officer told me I can use what funding and grants I have to pay for it, I still have to give an out-of-pocket expense of 2,121.00 over an 11 month payment period, 192.00 a month. That is honestly so ridiculous. I want to know if Carlee12 is still on here because I honestly am terrified to sink with that much financial debt on my plate. I am unsure of the monetary damages either its 2,121.00 or 31,360.00 which is "estimate" they put for the books needed, the graduation, application fees, etc etc and its so expensive and I never really had a second thought about it. I was just happy to be back in school after having a hiatus of four or more years. But now that I've done research I see that I've been scammed and I want to get my money back of what I have already paid. Though my fiancial aid funding has not been accepted, she said she would put a note on that to not put it through. But I've also gotten back-and-forth where they seem to not know what they are doing. I haven't put my funding through yet so I guess I don't owe anything or do I? I'm scared and this is my first time on Scambook and I hope someone can help me!

- Shawn.
