I received a call from an aggressive man demanding my details along with bank details for a debt to ebay for £23.66. I informed him that I would not give my bank details to a stranger over the phone and to send a letter.

After I signed into ebay I payed what I owed which was £15.66.

They have sent a letter marked a week prior to receiving it and have said they will send bailiffs to my home and have since been called three times a day saying that they still need to speak to me even though I have paid the ebay debt. The same man calls with a bullying tone, and I have informed ebay, and they have stated that the amount they are demanding is not legitimate, yet the calls keep coming. I have also checked the phone number on the letter and this does not match up to their website.

I am thinking about reporting this to the police as I am sure this is classed as harassment and attempted extortion.
