A man who, after my repeated inquiry, identified himself as Mark Williams from the Dept. Of Legal Affairs so the US treasury. He stated that I had three judgements against me and I was to immediately contact the Investigation Officer at the Dept. Of Legal Affairs at 914-364-9546. Mark Williams spoke with a heavy Indian accent. Impressed Mr. Williams for the phone number he was calling from, but he stated he was unable to provide one. I then dialed the number provided and it was answered by a man also with a heavy Indian accent. The person did not identify himself, and I stated that I was sorry, but must have dialed the wrong number. I've not heard of the US government contacting people by phone.
