I was reading the MailOnline yesterday and came across an article for Garcinium dietary supplement. I clicked on the link for a free trial and was taken to a page asking for my name and address. I was then diverted to another page asking for payment of postage. $5.99 I think. I had an email order confirmation from [email protected]. I backed up to read the article again and could not find it for love nor money. I used various searches but nothing, I thought this was very strange as this was an article I was reading not an advert.
I googled garcinium.com and was diverted to a blank page and then found this scam had been reported before. I've checked my bank account and there is no sign of fraudulent activity as yet but I will advise my bank this morning when it opens.
