I installed the free version of the software and everything was fine. Avast offered me a free trial for upgraded services. I accepted. When the trial ended I wanted to revert back to the free software as I noticed no difference between the free version and the upgraded version. Avast would not allow me to revert back to the free version.

So I uninstalled the software and that is when my computer would not connect to the internet. I called avast and they told me that avast was not the problem. Then when I called them on the lie I was told they couldn't help me due to me not having internet access. After that I was told that for 179 he could have an engineer fix the problem. I hung up on him.

I have been troubleshooting this problem for several days and I can't get my computer to work no matter what I have tried.

Local computer repair shops want about 150 to repair my computer. On top of that I sell on ebay and have lost sales due to not being able to login. I have also lost out on hearing back from jobs (I am a freelance tutor and editor) because my computer is down.

Finally I am an online student and have been unable to submit assignments because of this. I may be forced to retake my class because I can't upload mmy assignments.
