I received several calls (but only one message) on 4/23/14 from a man with a strong accent (perhaps Indian or Pakistani) who identified himself as Carl Rivera from the Department of Legal Affairs. The message started out by saying the message was intended to contact ******* *****(my name, but mispronounced). He identified himself and said he was trying to reach me in regards to a very important issue. He gave his number - 213-375-0947 - twice and asked me or my attorney to call back. He also said that any delay in calling will end up in a legal mess. He hoped I would take the advice and call him back. Then he said "until then God bless have a nice day". Because of his accent and poor grammar he was difficult to understand, even after listening to the message many times. I was suspicious immediately, in part because I had received a similar type of call last year that turned out to be a scam also.
