I went to Jess for a psychic reading. She has a genuine skill set in this area, but she uses it to dupe people. I paid $90 to get a crystal ball reading. She gave me a reading and said I had a negative energy around me that she could clear for $500. I had experienced quite a bit of upheaval in my life, especially in the relationship realm, so I was game to try it even though I was suspect. Several days into her efforts to clear the negative energy, she stated that two people had put curses on me. She then had me begin a 7 day ritual of putting various items in envelopes along with money under my mattress. The sum of the money after 7 days was $2000. She asked me to bring the envelopes to her, and she would 'explain' what I had to do. Even as I put money under my mattress and questioned the purpose, she assured me that she wasn't going to 'ask my to burn the money or anything like that'. What she did do is tell me I needed to give her the money so she could provide crystals that would be used to clear my energy and curses (crystals she eventually told me to return to her, by the way). She told me, of course, not to discuss this with anybody or 'it won't work'. I'm an intelligent woman and suspected it was a scam, but she is authentic enough for her gift to be apparent, and she uses fear to convince you that she can help. She said we had to 'work together' for a year, and I stopped her from helping me during the time, the curse would take hold with even more force. Eight months into that year, I relocated across country, and she stopped taking my calls. I filed a BBB complaint, and only then did she call. She did offer to give me the money back because she wanted to 'protect her reputation', but she said she really wanted to help me. So, she 'worked with me' for another year. Nothing changed. Ultimately, she dropped out of communications with me again. So, in short, if you go to Jess Psychic, plan on giving her a week of two worth of pay to begin with and then dipping into your savings or 401k for her to 'help' you more. She's a complete scam! It won't help anybody who goes to her on this physical realm, but for a psychically gifted person to use their gift to take advantage of / instill fear in others is strictly against the 'rules' of the Universe, and I am certain that she will be counseled on this during her 'life review' that her soul has to undergo after it leaves her physical body.
