A charge of $44.09 by "Pro-Resv" appeared 7/05/2011 as a temporary authorization on our Master Card online statement. Temporary authorizations have no information as to merchant but we knew charge was fraudulent since neither I nor my wife had ever heard of the firm. On 7/06/2011 charge posting was moved into posted transactions. Details normally provide address but none is shown. Merchant Category states "Medical services & health practitioners not elsewhere classified". Merchant location states "877-311-4926, CA". No other information is provided. We are contacting Master Card and after they investigate they will remove charge.

I am certain charge will be removed because this is the sixth fraudulent charge posted since Oct. 9, 2010 when my wife placed an online order with Diet-Max. After checking Diet-Max on line 10/10/10 and seeing hundreds of complaints about unauthorized additional charges we cancelled the order and confirmed that cancellation with a certified letter. Despite the cancellation two weeks later they shipped product and on 10/21/10 posted a charge of $35.81. We contacted Master Card, sent them documentation of the timely cancellation and on 11/19/10 the charge was removed from our card but the problem did not end.

Either the thieves at Diet Max operate under many merchant names or they give or sell card numbers to other thieves. Fraudulent charges to our account were posted:
"Profit Vault" November, 2010;
"Blowjoblusting" January, 2011
"Diet Leader MD" March, 2011
"Fit Mentor MD" March 2011
"I-Tech-Marketing" May, 2011.
In each instance the Master Card dispute people were friendly and professional and all charges soon removed.
