I contacted them for a quote and was told that there was a $29 service fee and $35 to pick a lock on car- if a key needed to be made it would be more. We were given an ETA of 20 minutes. They arrived 2.5 hours later. The locksmith had the car owner sign for "permission" to work on the car for security reasons. There was no quote on the paper she signed. It took him 2-4 minutes to pick the glove compartment lock. He charged $278. He then filled in the paper that was previously signed. Police were notified as we were not going to pay for the highway robbery. As it turned out, the police said that the car owner would be arrested and her car would be towed if I didn't pay the bill. No satisfaction with the owner (His name is Steve - he wouldn't give his last name). I am going to dispute the credit card charge. We will also be taking them to small claims court. The car owner will be filing an elder abuse charge. This entire event was very traumatic. In my opinion, they are extremely dishonest.
