On 14th April 2014 around 3.30 pm I received a call on my land line from one Mr Chriss Smith introduced himself as an employee of Gmiits Global Ltd. He stated that my laptop computer has infected by lot of viruses and will be cracked within 24 hours if not resolved. His conversation started in a mode of threatening me. He had given some instructions to follow, in the computer which I did so. Asked me to give details of my Matser Card. The charges he said was only 300 S.Afrcican rands which I authorised. Only to find that a sum of R3715.53 debited from my credit card. I tried to contact him several times on the number he gave me 021-8139862 but no response. Then I realised that it was a real fraud. Another engineer also talked Mr Keyason. The manner in which they talked somehow they convied me as the real staff of Gmiits. Later from the internet I learned that there is a fruad group working globaly.It is very unfortunate that I also became a victim.
If the company can investigate the case and do some precautions many like me will not become pray in future. Thanks.
