On Thurs. 10/4/2014 was contacted by Rose who said she was located at 623 Chapell St, South Yarra Victoria,for Microsoft.
Palaver about how slow my computer was.
Showed up red & yellow crosses on default programs.
Put on a technician, David who stuffed up the operation of my computer. It kept shutting off. Told charge was $249 but no indication that this was in US dollars.
Subsequently charged my visa account
$265.77 + international transfer fee of $6.64 both Aus
Yesterday was asked to let them work on my computer,
I denied them any access, & demanded kthe cancellation
of the visa amount as they had achieved nothing.
Sent them an email to cancel the amount charged.
The email address given to me above was totally
invalid. Hope no one else gets scammed.
