I boarded my flight in Chattanooga with a (somewhat) large carry-on bag and was assisted by an attendant as I placed it in the overhead bin.
HOWEVER:
As I boarded my return flight in Tampa, I was given a long speech about oversized carry-ons and that this was unacceptable and the bag would cost $50.
Why was I not charged at the original gate? This was no HUGE deal to pay the over sized fee but I would assume that if it was oversized in Chattanooga it would also be oversized in Tampa?? Both flights seemed to hold about the same amount of passengers both ways. The man who loaded the bags and brought to the attendants attention was SO rude and aggressive. They threated to leave without my wife and I. It was a ridiculous conversation as I tried to kindly converse. I hate flying Allegiant but on occasion, you can't beat their prices. UGH
