I found out about Amir through Elance but my biggest mistake was taking the deal out of it and paying him directly through Paypal. I hired him to help out in our crowdfunding campaign for victims of typhoon Haiyan. This person is so shady as to scam us of our money that was supposed to be used to help people! I filed a dispute against him in Paypal and closed it in good faith that he will continue on working with our campaign. But it has been months now and no communication whatsoever.
He is so good at convincing you that he's going to do the job but he won't. I have full skype communication evidence that he hasn't replied with and apparently another guy here was scammed by this person.
DO NOT EVER WORK WITH THIS PERSON. We hope that we can get our money back if there's a chance.
Update: 04/11/2014
This complaint has been resolved peacefully and we got our refund. Now waiting on the representative from scambook to confirm my account and close this complaint.
