I received a call from a "law firm" representing American cash payday loan, also a part of Cashnet USA. They were Indian and spoke with a heavy accent. I was informed that I was being sued for a loan I never took out. I did some research and found a number to call for Cashnet USA. I spoke with them and found out they do not even do these type loans in my state and they were aware that scammers where out there. Cashnet even verified that I had never had a loan with them. I was concerned about someone had stolen my identity. However, as we can see by these post, they continue to change their number and location. They are pretty convincing, but nothing more than scam artist. When I called them back to confront them, the man just kept hitting a button on the phone. I called back again and I was told I was going to be arrested. I have since called back and get a busy signal....interesting for a law firm. Please do not be scammed. I have been in banking for 20 years and seen my share of scams.
