Booked the ticket but couldn't proceed to the payment as the website didn't have an option to pay through the credit card. The following morning, I received an email from Lars Dahlin through [email protected] asking me to do the bank transfer to the following address
Beneficiary name: VENTA Y GESTIONES ALPHA PROP 19
Beneficiary address: TripPlanners SA, 14 Rambla de victoria, Barcelona, Spain
Bank: BANCO CAM S.A.
SWIFT: CAAMES2A
IBAN: ES1720906436730200195951
I continued with the payment and sent a screenshot of the proof of payment to them. Subsequently, they issued an e-ticket via email which was basically a screenshot of the their website with the confirmation of flight timings only and the ticket price.
The airline company, when contacted revealed that the payment was tried using an American Express credit card which didn't go through for security reasons and obviously so, because it wasn't my credit card.
The company (Yourtripplanners.com) is registered in Denmark (as per the website) but also shows references to the business being housed in Sheffield, UK with phone numbers from Denmark: +45 3698 7693, UK: +44 844 478 0503 and US: +1-718-395-3605.
The number in UK and US isn't valid, but the Danish number was once answered by a call center agent(Max) based out of India (I'm certain about it, because I'm an Indian myself and can recognise the accent pretty well) who had no idea and was asking for an order number which could only be 4 digits long, but the order number I had was 5 digits. After explaining the situation more clearly to the agent, he agreed to escalate the issue higher up to people who have better access to the systems. Point to be noted is that this agent didn't have access to their email i.e. [email protected]

The website domain is registered in the name of
Heine Koenders +32.92281603 +32.92281603
Heine Koenders
Antwerpsesteenweg 7
Ghent,Oost-Vlaanderen,BE 9000
The phone numbers there are fax numbers. Clearly, these are a bunch of charlatans operating with fake identities and fake information with the only intent of scamming people who, like me are led to the website in the hope of a lucrative flying deal.
I've made the payment back in August for the flights in November 2011.
