If you go to thewhitepages.com. and someone's information is not listed there, it refers you to Instant Checkmate. The site makes you enter several different e mail addresses and passwords, saying it cannot use any of them, or that they are already being used. when I called the phone number of the site, a boy sounding like he was very young answered on Thursday night, telling me I should establish YET ANOTHER MAILBOX AND CREDIT CARD, which I do not even have. He made me repeat the sme information at least 3 times, then said he "needed assistance" and never got back on the line, leaving me hanging for more than an hour. There was obviously no one in charge there, since I had asked to speak to the supervisor. This site is not supplying any of the information it advertises, and should be investigated. It wasted 2 hours of my time.I value my time at $20 per hour. When the supervisor finally got on the line, he said that every time a customer opens another account, they need a totally new e mail address, when I had already opened 2. I find all this very damaging to the customer. why can't we just get the information on a one-time basis? I ended up getting nothing. i have a terrible headache, and was on this site for 3 hours.
