Caller with an east Indian accent left a voice mail stating I was in legal trouble and that I or my lawyer needed to return his (Chris Evans) call or I would be in a legal mess. He warned that the message left was a verbal confirmation that I was made aware of the legal trouble I was in. Upon returning his call he shared that a warrant was issued in my name and that I would be arrested at my primary residence of work at 3:00. It was 2:40 at the time. Voice mail was left at 1:00. When asked questions about the details of the report, I was told that I was did not pay my taxes during the year 2007-2008 which I told him was not true. He then said, I had defaulted on student loans. When I requested documentation of the default since I was not aware of that and nothing is shown on my credit report, he became belligerent and yelled that he did not have to provide it and he just needed to verify that my address was 1) Vancouver, 2) somewhere else I could not understand 3) Massachusetts...each time telling him he must have the incorrect person...before finally naming the city and state I truly lived in. When pointing out the fact that he seemed to have some incorrect information, he stated the investigator would look into that but in the mean time be prepared to be arrested at my place of residence before hanging up the phone. Needless to say, 3:00 has come and gone and I have yet to have anyone show up at my place of employment or home.
