I ordered a camera for a "too good to be true price". It was a canon 5D mark ii. The price was around 1150 dollars a I paid an extra 80 for three day shipping. I was called the next morning to be informed that I had ordered an import model that could not arrive in 3 days and was then advised to buy a canon 6D which actually seemed reasonable despite the 500 price difference I was quoted on the phone by David. I told him I would get back to him after consulting with my wife. When I did a couple of hours later, he was gone and the price had jumped a hundred dollars. So now I'm at 1800 for the camera which is within reason, but isn't the great deal that I was led to believe I was getting. I then told the new rep that I would just cancel the order and he said this would be no problem but there was a 5 percent cancellation fee to recover the fee they had to pay the credit card company Ben politely explained. i had him show me in the fine print where this was stated and sure enough it is in their website, but they are the ones who couldn't fill my original order in the time agreed upon. Feeling defeated and not wanting to have to dispute the fee, I decided I would proceed with them and use their free 7-12 day shipping option to save a hundred dollars. However, when Ben tried to run my Visa it was declined. He then politely suggested I call the card company and authorize the purchase while he would wait on hold to complete the transaction. This over eagerness struck me unusual in addition to the import camera, the bait and switch upgrade and the cancellation fee. I realized at this point that this is a total scam and I called the credit card company to confirm that they had not charged my card yet. When I found out they had not charged my card (why would they need to recoup their 5 percent credit card fee if they haven't charged your card) I then told Ben that I was uncomfortable completing the purchase and I was leaving my credit card blocked so that they could not charge the bogus fee. Ben then became obviously irritated and hung up the phone. Feeling fortunate to have dodged a major monetary loss after reading all I these horrible stories from this company, I would advise anyone to shop elsewhere. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

My coworker then told me a parallel story when he ordered a camera from this company and they called him the next day with an upsell. It seems they have their routine quite polished.
