2 Entrust Energy employees knocked on my door and said they had been "sent by the company to look over my electric bill because many people in my surrounding area had been overcharged on their bill." I told them I wasn't going to show them my bill because they were not from my electric company and no one told me anyone was coming to look at my bill. They then said "It doesn't matter the city sent us. Let us see your last electric bill". I told them a firm no. Then the man said " You are on our list of those being overcharged. Just let me see the invoice." To which I replied a firm NO. Then he became more insistent and said " It doesn't make any sense for you not to let me see it I'm only asking to see the last invoice.How are we supposed to take the overcharge off your bill without seeing the invoice?" I told them " We are done talking." Then I shut my door.
I really thought they might be meth heads or identity thieves because I had no doubt I was being scammed, so I called the police on them. It really never occurred to me that a business would train their employees in such deceptive, aggressive sales techniques. What a CON JOB! About 2 hours later I googled the company name to see I'm not the only this company has used these horrible tactics on. What a disgusting business practice! It's pretty obvious to me they are being trained to do that because too many other people online are telling the same story & that can lead me to believe nothing else but they are being trained this way. Shame on Entrust Energy.
