I thought I was contacting Norton and got itechline. I asked four different times if they were Norton and told, "Yes." They posed as an agent for Norton and said my computer was infected, my IP address was hacked and they would contact NSA, then they would fix it. They said my bank accounts were compromised as well. The person was very helpful, even if it was difficult to understand him (I was in the US, he India).
They said they had to charge for each computer in our home and the printer (three charges of $199 each for the year but we would be set). I asked again, "For Norton?" "Yes, that is correct." I asked to be transferred to someone local, as I live near the Silicon Valley and it was odd, they said offices were closed due to the day after Thanksgiving.
Computer has been faster and looking good, so even though it was a boat load of cash we paid (because the bank/IP breach and their contact the 'NSA' on our behalf freaked us out).

Imagine our shock when NORTON sent us a renewal last week. . .we called our Visa company who said iTechLine has been on their list of "possible fraudulent companies and we should contact them and Norton."

It is so very annoying as I asked the question, "Are you Norton anti-virus?" They out right lied and charged almost $600. I am so very upset and annoyed. This outfit is a scam.

Update: 02/20/2014

I phoned Itech Line directly this morning spoke to "Mark," "Jesse," and finally "David" a supervisor. Found out that I was not charged $199.99 - 3 times, but in actuality it was 4 making the charges $799.96.

Update: 02/21/2014

iTechLine contacted us this morning (6:30AM PST). They agreed to reimburse half of our cost or $400. We are considering this resolved even if they lie and misrepresent themselves constantly not the best policy.
