In my experience, these people are liers, cheats, thieves, and scam artists. I purchased a one only name search for 99 cents. They stated I had 3 days to look for the name and, if not found, I could notify them to get my money back. I notified them within 12 hours. I found later they had immediately charged me the 99 cents they were suppposed to refund, then $19.95. Not only that, in addition, they charged me $19.95 the next 2 months, thus totaling $59.85 plus the .99.
They then proceeded to lie to the credit card company about the charges, and I was stuck.
