International boundaries
Yellow Holdings sent our company the standard letter indicating we owed 1200.00. Our accounting clears sent them a check for said amount. Yellow Holdings, fortunately did not deposit the check but sent it to our bank asking for a wire transfer. The bank called my wife who is CFO asked her to destroy the check and make sure a stop payment was put in place. We were very fortunate and I can assure you the accounting clerk will not do this again!
Does anyone know how to peruse this from a legal standpoint. I would like to either try to put them out of business or have five minutes alone with this sorry excuse of a person.
