*** THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT*******
First and foremost let me make it 100% clear that I DO NOT WORK for the Cosmetic Dentistry Grant, and I do believe they are VEEERRYY misleading and gain patients on the premise of false advertisement. However in no way shape or form are they a scam.

This is how the program works:
1) you research dental grants on Google stumble upon the " 20,000 dental grant give away" ad ( which is misleading)

2) You call and get scheduled with a doctor enrolled in the program.

3) You are seen by the doctor whom informs you all the of MEDICALLY NECESSARY treatment that needs to be done(known as " basic work" by the cosmetic dentistry grant) prior to getting any cosmetic work done. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SCAM IN ACTUALLY TREATING THE ROTTEN DECAYING TEETH IN YOUR MOUTH. A helpful analogy to put this all into context is, Dentistry is somewhat similar to building a home. You must make sure your foundation is solid before you add all the " bells and whistles". So in order to guarantee the longevity and success of your cosmetic work (veneers, bleaching, Ortho, etc), the doctor must treat the teeth that are medically necessary ( Root canals, crowns, fillings, etc).

4) Once you complete your basic work and ready to move on to the cosmetic, you will receive a VERY SMALL grant, based upon the amount of treatment you commit to. To date at the Dental office hat I'm employed at I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN A PATIENT AWARDED A GRANT THAT EXCEEDED 5,000.
5) You get your Cosmetic work done, appreciate the fact that someone gave you free money to help fix your teeth and move on with your life
