This heartless, ruthless company got their hooks into us on our honeymoon in 2002. Biggest mistake of my life.
Actually, everything was fine and I didn't begin to see how much of a money hungry bloodsuckers this company was until last year.
We missed a few payments because my husband had to take a decrease in pay that was unexpected. I was unprepared for it and did not know exactly how to scale down enough in time to be able to keep juggling all the balls.
Little did I know that this missed payment had caused us to lose use of our week with them for the year. Did not find this out until my parents were literally on the road headed to it for the weekend and I was calling to make sure the guard at the security gate would have their names. That's when someone at the actual resort was very short and snooty with me-I can't remember their exact words-I remember the use of the words, "...(they??) can not come in....".
I was so upset by the time I got off the phone with my parents after having to tell them the whole story (in which they then had to rent a hotel room somewhere) that I was inconsolable by my husband. Everyone I spoke with that day was either rude, bossy, unintelligible, or just simply demanding money. My husband was F-U-R-I-O-U-S. Because see I am a strong, smart, woman and he knows that if someone has been rude enough to me to make me inconsolable, they done me wrong.
From that moment on we have been trying to get their hooks out of us. Any company that is that un-concerned with people in need of simply some understanding much less financial difficulties, we want nothing more to do with them.
So far it is looking like the only way out for good is foreclosure but as a last resort.
I don't know what else to do.
We can not keep making payments for something we are simply not allowed the use of, and money that would literally take food off our plate right now.
