I used the payphone for this company after locking my keys and my phone in my car. The machines state that they charge $1 for 4 minutes. I used the machine for 3 minutes and paid by debit card as I had no coin. When I checked my account balance later that night I found the charge was for $16.77. Nearly 17 times the amount I was supposed to be charged.

After calling in to complain I was informed that I should have used a sub menu within their system to learn that charges on cards are different than cash rates and was informed nowhere on the machine that I might be charged a different rate or given any indication that I might have been charged more for my call by opting to use my card. In the end they determined that the "best" they could do since this was "my fault" was give me back half my money.
