I have a problem with Godaddy. I've been waiting for a call since December 3, 2013. It's been a month and a half with no call, and Godaddy's resolution this time was to block me from commenting about my problem, even though they asked me for more information about the problem. Once I answered all their questions, I was blocked from their page, given the excuse from CS that "we do not block people from our facebook so that is very funny" . He also told me that apparently no one at Godaddy corporation, knows how to get ahold of Godaddy's social team on facebook. So why anyone is posting anything here is beyond me if this facebook page is not in communication with the Godaddy Company. Either way, I have contacted the company, have cotacted the facebook, have been waiting a month and a half for help, and have got next to nothing!
If you are looking for a website, dont go with Godaddy. Experience from someone who has spent a LOT of money with them. I haven't gotten the services I paid for, in fact I lost 75% of my services that I paid for originally with their BEST package that I need to run my site, and even though it was the most expensive, it now seems like the worst package. One month, 2 weeks and 2 days, I've been promised stuff all last week by Godaddy only to be lied to and blocked. I spent well over $1000 with Godaddy, and when I have a problem they blocked and ignored me and NEVER helped me! In fact they have done nothing but hurt my business for the past year.
If you are considering buying a domain, buy it somewhere else. If you need hosting, look for cheap/free hosting. Godaddy has taken over $1000 from me, has fraudulently sold me another $200 in junk web services that I could NEVER use. They sold me that $200 in junk, then when I couldn’t set it up, told me, I would need to spend another $1500 with them basically to even setup what I had already paid for and was told would be easily setup and used. Since my first week with Godaddy I have lost my PAID services, email accounts, mobile sites, SSL certificates, webstats, all the services I paid for and was told I would always have, have gone within the first year. EVEN the SSL I paid for has not been in my account for months! I finally got it back, but I got it as a resolution….. to what? I paid for that item. I shouldn't be given something I paid for, as a payment for your mistakes. I should get more! And I should have had that all along. I shouldn’t of had to wait over 2 months to have something I paid for. It was a 100% disruption to my services. They have cost me an evident 2 months, plus, all the services I paid for that they keep taking has cost me more hard times.
This company is a joke and borderline of fraud. I see many people comment saying they cannot get on their godaddy website. Godaddy says "oh but we can". But even now, I click their link and I cannot get on their website, and I'm sure the other people who never got answered back who commented before them, still cannot get on their website, especially when Godaddy ignores the customers who have problems.
So here I am, given something that I had paid for as a resolution to Godaddy's mistake. On top of that, they blocked me, with NO COMMUNICATION! I never got a call, never got an email, I was told 48 hours ago someone was looking right at my account and I would be unblocked. I am still blocked from messaging on FB to Godaddy, after telling them everything they asked me, they blocked me. They promised me help, and then blocked me and ignored my situation.
So still over a month and a half, and I'm yet to hear back from anyone, on why I have been treated so bad by the customer service in the first place on top of losing paid services from my account, and also why it's taken a month and a half for no contact when I was told I would be contacted. Since the first week, I have lost my Godaddy services that I PAID FOR! and NOW when I talk to them, they said, tell us what we want to know, and I did, and they blocked me with no communication or support on the matter. I paid good money, and Godaddy has robbed me of my services that I bought and was told I could use easily, since the first week with them, and nothing has been done to fix this issue. I have lost items from my account because of their customer support, and taken months to get them back. That has stalled my website and business months. Godaddy obviously does not care about their customers if they did not even bother to call me for over a month now, when I and my website have been suffering because of them. Godaddy does not care about your websites and Godaddy does not care about you! Obviously they just want you to spend money with them, and when you do, they start taking the things you already paid for, claiming those services are no longer useful, or in my case, claiming they never existed. It use to work fine for me, and now people who say they have worked their 27 years (really) say they NEVER offered that service because it is stupid. But, yet, I find articles all over the web saying "Godaddy offers unlimited email"....well Godaddy sold it on their page, and offered it, but if you bought it and they changed your package, they now lie to you about it EVER being in existance. But it use to work for me, it is just another service they have stolen from me!
I want retrobutions, for the services you have taken from me and lied to me about. Also, for the last two months I have lost. And also, for all the ill treatment for the past 3 months, as well as for the predatory sales techniques your phone people have applied in selling people stuff they cannot use, that you offer as so called services.
