I was being harrassed by this phone number for about a month in December. They would call 5-6 times a day. I never answered because I didnt recognize the number. I finally answered it at the end of the month because I was pissed off at these people for constantly calling. This guy told me I was entered into a drawing of some sorts. I needed to buy some magazines. He never told me how much. I talked to his boss amd she was talking so fast and plus I was distracted by a 3 year old. I couldnt really listen too well to what she was saying because she was going so fast. I asked her to send me the info to my email address but she said the website was down. I would get the info in the mail. She said I would be getting some magazines and I would have to pay $33.20 for the 3 months. She also said not to try to cancel within the first 3 days. I remember she said that because I wrote that down on a scrap piece of paper. When I got the letter in the mail I was shocked to find out that I was buying 8 magazines and one of the magazines on the listI was already subscribed to. The total bill was $794.60. I had to pay $33.20 for 24 installments. I was shocked. I called the company and the girl said that I could not cancel. I told her that if I knew I would be paying that amount in total I never would have signed up. She said I could switch magazines but I told her I didnt want the watch or the magazines. She said that it is their policy that they cant cancel it and I still had to pay regardless. I told her that I was going to cancel my card. She said that than my account will becime delinquent. She kept saying I had to pay the full amount. She didnt care that I couldnt pay it she just wanted the money. I can get cheaper magazine prices elsewhere. I am so upset that if I dont get this canceled soon I will go to the dept of justice and attorney general's office to complain and get my money back that way and have my account canceled.
