I was offered a free skin cream sample from a charity website. You had to pay for postage, but they then used the credit card information to set up a monthly direct debit. If you did not want a monthly supply of cream you are supposed to cancel the direct debit. However this bit of information is lost in the myriad of small print and after much searching is at the end of all the infomation. Very sharp practive indeed and would be illoegal in the UK
