My wife responded to an on-line job as an administrator assistant for this Ben Harris guy; the "bad guy" in this case. The information provided on this site is exactly the same as what this scam artist, Ben Harris, sent my wife in a 2 -Day Priority mail, which by the way was mailed on 6 Dec 13 and received on 16 Dec 13. Two-day priority service?? My wife was "directed" (red flag) to deposit the check from NFCU in the amount of $2185 into her account. She was then directed (red flag) to send $1775 to a David Robert in Sweden via Western Union using a portion of the check for $110 wire fee for the transaction. She was directed to keep $300 for her portion of the $1000 weekly pay. Ben Harris then requested she fax him the receipt of the deposit soonest(her account number would be listed, -red flag). The check this guy sent look fake and had a copied signature on the two-party signature line. It also had a check number of 002. Ben Harris then asked in his email to meet with my wife at a coffee shop (European or African origination) to discuss the job in person. I am taking action ( letter and bogus check) with the local police (wire fraud/scam,etc) & will inform NFCU to advise them that there is a scam which has linked them, out on the internet. They have good a cyber unit so it should be a just a matter of time before they bracket this guy(or group) in. I have the guy's email address and emails for evidence. I also have a home defense plan in the event this guy or one of his partners decide to pay us a visit because my wife provided our home address/phone number during the initial application. Being a retired Marine & combat veteran, I am well versed in how to make problems from (Inappropriate Content Removed) go-away. Get the word out on this Ben Harris guy.
