I downloaded and paid 39.90 for errorend
on 12/7/13. They required I call them to activate the sofware. I did so and was asked to allow a tech remote access to my computer. Not knowing any better I agreed. He proceeded to install the software ( which basically did nothing and them attempted to sell me a $250.00 "computer tuneup". He showed me the windows event log and claimed every single entry in that log was slowing my computer down. He also claimed every entry must be removed by a technician and it would take days to clear the log. I told him to take a hike. One click of the mouse clears the entire windows event log in less than one second. I have to wonder how many unsuspecting consumers fall for this $250.00 ripoff?
Errorend is a scam, they use dirty underhanded marketing techniques, avoid at all costs. I have requested a refund and will do a credit card chargeback in a few days if I don't receive a refund.
