Speedy PC Pro is a complete and total scam. I downloaded their "free scan" which found hundreds of registry errors. My computer seemed to be running slower and slower despite having Norton 360 full security suite on full time. I paid the $29.95 and it claimed to have cleaned the errors. There was no noticeable improvement. The next day I re-ran the program and it found hundreds more errors. I ran a Norton Full System Scan which found nothing. I then re-ran Speedy PC Pro which again found hundreds of errors. I became very suspicious. I ran SPCP again same result, hundreds of errors. After I clicked "clean files" I IMMEDIATELY re-ran the scan. Guess what, hundreds of errors again? What? I JUST ran the cleaning software, there should be zero errors. I tried the same process but rebooted before running the second scan and guess what, YEP hundreds more errors!

The product claims to be Microsoft Certified. I took my computer to the Mission Viejo Microsoft Store and the tech I talked to there said products like Speedy PC Pro are "snake oil" and do more harm than good. I had recently upgraded to Windows 8 so Microsoft did a complete reinstall for me (minus Speedy PC Pro) as a courtesy and all of my problems went away.

I few months later I sold my Dell and bought a Mac Air so I have not even had a PC for several months.

Now the best part - Yesterday I got hit with an auto payment on my Paypal account for $4.95 from them. I disputed it of course (online, it was the weekend) and the very next day a SECOND auto payment hit my Paypal for another $24.95.

Even though I removed their program, and even got rid of the computer, they are still haunting me. This company is a complete and total scam and if you do an internet search on them (which I did to find this site) you will see similar stories.

This product could not be more of a scam and I am surprised Microsoft has not gone after them for putting an endorsement stamp on their product (based on my experience with their technician, they do NOT endorse them!)

In short - do NOT use this product or even visit their website. You will be very very sorry for doing so.
