I was contacted by Garry Thomas for California Cash Payday Loans. He said I was approved to take a loan of 1000 dollars. I was online looking to see where I could get a loan my bills are behind this month due to double payment for my student loan. He told me to by a Green Dot card and I would be able to secure the loan because of my credit. I was told to go to Walmart or some store that sold the Green Dot cards. I did this and was contacted by Michael Orton I explained to Michael I was taking my rent money to secure this loan and I asked was this a scam or fraud. I should have stopped then but I was going to be so behind in my bills I live on social security disability and he said that my funds were on hold because they needed to secure the loan because so I needed to purchase another card and put two hundred and ten dollars on that card both times I scratch the back of the card and gave them the number. After that when I called I spoke to supposedly the manger nd he told me my money was being held at bamk of America and I had to show them I had 360.00 in my account then they would transfer the 1000 into my bank account. I agured with him over thirty minutes until he hung up on me and told me not to call back. I have no idea what to do now. Is there anyway I can sue them or get my money back?
