I booked a hotel with Olotels. My card payment didn't work as my bank blocked the transaction. Olotels said the payment had failed and i could try again with a different card or using a special payment form, they said they would ring me bank on monday to see IF i wanted to try the payment again by different means.I had no call back on monday and was worried it was getting close to the date i was going away, so i booked a different hotel. I was then billed for both the new hotel and the olotel hotel and have been reminded it is non-reundable (both are non-refundable). The card payment was pending, but i was not informed of that. I have asked for a refund from olotels and am still waiting for an answer from them.

Update: 12/09/2013

Good news- Olotels have now given me a full refund of the 240.00.

  • My booking number is: 6086545 I have already been on the phone with you numerous times and emailed you. I have had replied but it's always to tell me you are waiting for a response from someone else about my case. What has happened has been very unjust on me, i currently have £240 less money in my bank account because i was misinformed, which is very stressful!
