Received 10/1 phone bill and there were $96.26 in "long distance" charges from USBI. When I called them they said they "received an authorization" from me on Aug 24th, which never happened...why would I authorize a company to charge me and extra $100 per month for long distance service when I already have it for free through my phone company??? This month's phone bill from my phone company showed another $104.99 for long distance..when I called USBI, they hung up on me. Fortunately my phone company Century Link is awesome and they credited it back and notated it. I am pursuing all avenues of recourse in case USBI decides to send me to collections. I work for a police department. This is called "Cramming" and is illegal. Pursuing that avenue also.
