I have been an avid player on the SKILL gaming website worldwinner.com. On this site you pay an entry fee into tournaments and use your SKILL to play games and compete for cash prizes (it is a non gambling site based on SKILL). You are supposedly matched up to other users of similar skill level when you play. The game at which I am pro at and referring to is Bejeweled 2. The problem at worldwinner.com is that when you play a tournament of Bejeweled 2, each player is given a different game board to compete against you (think of a crossword puzzle where some are easy and some are hard). Bejeweled 2 is a very sensitive game where that if even one jewel is in a different spot at the start of the game, then it can have a huge implication on the final score. At the start of each game entered, the boards are always different. They designed it this way so that aggressive users will be more opt to fill up tournaments faster by chasing high scores. From my 7 years experience of playing on the site I have found the patterns in their system (example: in a 10 player tournament, entries that played 1st, 2nd, 9th or 10th will receive a vastly more loose game than the rest, keeping in mind you can play all 10 of 10 entries if you so happen to do so). I don’t see on what universe this is a fair game and I consider them to be using hustle tactics to get you to enter more. Their incentive is that they keep 15% of every finished tournament, or even in some cases, they have ended tournaments prematurely and collected their fees while leaving the winner with a reduced winning. I have made several attempts with them to disclose their system and prove to me that it is fair but to no avail. In fact, they terminated my account just so I could stop collecting evidence. They keep their matching/ranking system behind the scenes so you are completely blind in the process. I have played on other top SKILL gaming sites and they allow you to see everyone’s ranking system and all participants receive the SAME EXACT GAME BOARDS to make the tournaments completely fair. Over the past 7 years worldwinner.com has defrauded me $160,665.26 in entry fees!
