I ordered the MSA 30x via their mobile site, trying to take advantage of their "buy one get one free for $29.95 plus $7.95 S&H" offer. The form on the front page of their site asks for your credit card information, and how many sets you would like. Thinking one set would come up as free, I chose 2, also thinking that I could clarify this when I saw the shopping cart if I was wrong. I opted for the $1.99 product insurance as well, in a laundry list of upsells before you can place the order. Then, when I clicked the button to place the order, I did not get to see the shopping cart. The order was already placed, and it was for double. The $29.95 + $7.95 + $1.99 was now a total of $93.30, for TWO of the "Buy one get one free" offers, meaning I would be getting 4 hearing aids in the mail. I did not have a chance to review the shopping cart, confirm the amount, nothing. Not even a confirmation e-mail. So then I call customer service to cancel the order completely. I am at first told that they will refund $7.95 and send the products anyway. I said I do not want them to send the products, that I want the 30-day money back guarantee as advertized on their website, and then am told they will refund the shipping for both at $15.95, and send the products anyway, and I can give them to my friends. I say again that I don't want the products, that I want my refund, and that the fact that I could not confirm the details of my order before giving payment authorization is a violation of my FTC rights. I am then told they will give me a return confirmation number that I can put on the outside of the box when it arrives, and after they receive it, 7-10 days later I will get my refund. So if it takes 4-6 weeks to ship, we are talking 2 months before I see that money back. If I am lucky. And the most frustrating thing is that they still have the product. Have not even shipped it yet. But will not cancel the shipment of it. They are going to make me wait until they ship it, wait until I receive it, wait until they get it back, and wait 7-10 days after that. COMPLETE FRAUD.
