received a lttere statinghad won $150,000 with a check for $3500 for "taxes" Check was drawn on Wells Fargo bank, on the Acct of Huron Vallet Steel Corp. Sure this is a scam. I never called. Looks just like so many other scams on this site., only the names are hanged to protect the guilty

My husband received an envelope today with WalMart as the return address and postmarked in Canada #7297850. There was a check in the amount of $3550.00 drawn on Wells Fargo Bank, NA. There was a letter from AP Financial Services 15 Victoria Street Oxford UK OX1 3AS stating he had won 150,000.00 and the enclosed check was for taxes. We have roughly $18,000.00 in checks of this nature. I think it is a sorry person, especially in this day and time, to mess with people like this. I want to submit a complaint on the AP
Financial Services as well. If my husband had got the mail today, he probably would have gone straight to Wells Fargo. We live on a fixed income and are raising two children age 4 and 15 and we could use that money. Our mobile home is a 1970 model and is about to fall apart after 27 yrs of repairs. This is just not human to do people like this. -
