On Oct 7, 2013, a telemarketer named John Paul Gomez (don't know if that is his real name) called my homephone. I immediately picked up the handset and didn't notice that it was a 1-877-276-9721 number because I was talking to someone else.
In short, the guy noticed that I was a Filipino and talked to me in Tagalog. After some talks, he forwarded me to a girl named, Danna Flora (a Filipino too). She claimed she is the Hotel Manager of Cancun Easy Vacations. She offered me a travel package to Cancun, Mexico for USD798 plus 2 bonus travels to Orlando, Florida and Bahamas Cruise.
Danna Flora convinced me to give my credit card # and the CCV #. I was so hesitant to give her the CCV # but she mislead me by telling me that the process was for "approval" yet. I asked her if I'll be asked for an approval prior to any deduction from my credit card and she said, yes. Unknowingly, my credit card was maxed out! She then forwarded me to a "Legal" person and the latter asked me to answer all the questions. I had to just answer yes or no.
As far as I can remember, I was returned to Danna Flora three times because my answers were probably not in accordance with their desired answers. Danna again explained to me unclearly. So, to finish up, thinking that I could transfer my package to someone, I answered the questions to their satisfaction. Danna, by the way, offered me that she could help transfer the travel package if someone will book for the same package. Just today, I received an email from one of the Customer Agents of Premier Cancun Vacations and informed me that the travel package which I was mislead to purchase is non-refundable. He then instructed me to sign the cancellation paper, which I didn't do.
I would just want my money to be returned to me.
