International boundaries
The television offer and internet offer for the Cabot road store advertised a $14.99 steak and lobster meal. Once seated we were told the offer is not available at any California restaurants, however when you go to the stores website the offer is font and center.
The manager alleges that if I would have looked at the online menu I would have noticed that that particular meal is $18.99.
In my opinion this is bait and switch and borders on FRAUD!!!
Now I know $25.00 is small change, but multiply this by 100,000 and it is large.
During this dining experience our waiter also told us a particular meal that we ultimately ordered was $21.99, but when we finished the meal the waitress indicated they were wrong, the meal was actually $27.99 and wanted to charge the difference but offered to give us a wholesales costing dessert equivalent to $2.00.
What a deal for them, charge an additional $6.00 for a meal and give a $2.00 consolatory dessert.
