International boundaries
This company is breaking Australian law in two ways. First, advertising is supposed to show prices INCLUSIVE of sales taxes. Second, Australian 'Goods and Services Tax' (GST) is a flat 10% on nearly everything. Trend's invoice has calculated it at 15%. I contacted them, but received no joy from their Philipines-located call centre. The email address is apparently to 'a different' department', and they won't forward my email to the correct department. Why is software purchasing such a precarious activity?
