On 09/07/11, I checked my bank account and saw a strange charge for $30.00. I called my bank and was told to call the 800 number listed with the charge. I called the number and spoke with a female employee who had a thick accent that I could hardly understand. I explained about the charge and she told me that I had signed up for a payday loan, which I know I had not because they are not legal in my home state. I explained that it was impossible for this to have happened. I told her that I wanted whatever account that was opened with my info closed and a refund for the money. I was then put on hold a few times. She finally came back on the line and tried to get me to stay a member of whatever this group does. I calmly declined and again stated I wished to have a refund and the account closed. After trying to convince me for a few more minutes, she gave up and told me that she closed the account and that I would receive a refund to my account within 20 business days. A few days after this call, I received an email from someone at the same company that stated the same thing: that I would receive a refund within 20 business days. Today is 10/18/11 and I have yet to receive it.
