My contract with Alarmforce was for a 4 year period from Apr. '00 - Apr. '04 But a large overpayment for 43 months went unmonitored. After my service was cancelled in Apr. '09, Alarmforce continued to withdraw a monthly charge from my bank account for 43 months. During the initial consultation about the security that they would provide, they would put contacts on all of my upper windows and doors that were accesible at ground level, But the 4 basement windows immediately at ground level had No contacts of any sort and was never updated for 9 years. They also failed to install the motion sensor camera that was spoke about and on top of all of this I had "to pay" for my own security alarm system at my local Canadian Tire. Now they don't want to refund that 43 month overpayment that went unchecked. I have sent letters to them to try and do it the easy way but they just don't want to comply with a refund for the overbilling of $1,150.25 So the next step is to take them to court and get it back the legal way. I wonder how many other people they have done this to and kept their monies also.
